To protect biodiversity we participate in the project with the 3bee company, monitoring and protecting bees and all pollinators.
The experience is suitable for adults and children. Children under 4 can participate for free when accompanied by their parents.

In case of bad weather, the activity could undergo changes in the route. We recommend comfortable clothing and sports shoes and a sun hat in the summer, wearing long trousers and long sleeves during your visit. Botabic garden entrance ticket can be purchased apart. This ticket is the document that entitles you to provide the service. Keep it and present it at the meeting point. |
Further information
Honey is one of the oldest products in the world. During this visit, you will have the opportunity to get to know the beekeeping world better, learning directly from an expert beekeeper who will tell you what it means to manage an apiary, revealing the secrets of these tireless workers.
To head to the apiary, you will be accompanied through the paths and lanes in the Botanic Garden. At the end of the experience you will enjoy a tasting of tuscan cheeses and honey.
You can choose to continue the day in the enchanting Botanic Garden, visiting the park and the educational farm, visiting the animals that live there: Shetland ponies, cows and mini Dexter cows, horses, Amiata donkeys, ostriches, hens, geese and peacocks, Cinta Senese pigs. A playground and an outdoor fitness area are also available to guests. Daily park admission is not included but you can add it to your cart.
You can also book a relaxing lunch break on a lawn, in the shade of an olive tree or in the equipped areas dedicated to rest, buying a special picnic basket that contains many small samples of traditional Tuscan products.
